1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Sheen you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the platform.

2. Platform Description

Sheen makes anything you post look premium, in one minute: motion templates you fill with your own photo or clip, an editor, and Polish. What you make is saved to your device for you to post wherever you like.

3. Age Requirement

You must be 16 or over to use Sheen, and by using it you confirm that you are. If you are under 18, please involve a parent or guardian before paying for Sheen Growth.

4. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Give accurate, complete information
• Keep your details up to date
• Keep your password to yourself
• Take responsibility for what happens on your account
• Tell us straight away if someone else uses it

5. What You Put In

When you use your own photos, clips and words in Sheen, you agree to:

• Use only what you have the right to use
• Have the permission of anybody who appears in it
• Follow the law that applies to you

6. Payments and Fees

Sheen charges for one thing only: Sheen Growth, a monthly subscription. Its price is shown before you pay.

7. Plans

There are two plans. Free costs nothing and includes 8 template uses a month, starting again on the 1st. Sheen Growth is a monthly subscription with unlimited template use: £9.99 a month, VAT included, shown to you before you pay and on every receipt. It renews each month until you cancel, and you can cancel at any time from your profile.

Cancelling stops the next payment; it does not cut your access short. You keep everything Sheen Growth includes until the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not refund part of a month, because you keep the whole of it.

8. Templates and What You Make

What you make is yours. We claim no ownership of it and take no share of anything it earns you, and you are free to post it anywhere, with or without crediting us.

The photos and videos you put into a template must be yours to use. Do not upload a picture of anybody without their permission, and do not upload work that is not your own.

Your photographs and clips stay on your device. A design is made on your own phone or computer, so what you put into it is not sent to us or stored by us. The finished file is saved to your device, and where you post it is up to you.

Our templates stay ours, and are licensed to you to use while you have an account.

9. Platform Role

Sheen is the technology you use to make your posts look premium. What you post, and where, is your decision and your responsibility.

10. Intellectual Property

Sheen's branding, design and software belong to us. What you make stays yours: your photos, your words, your work. Your name and profile photo are used only to show your own account to you.

Some illustrations in the app are by Storyset, used under their licence and recoloured to our own palette.

11. Prohibited Conduct

Users must not:

• Break the law
• Use someone else's work or brand without permission
• Post anything harmful, abusive or offensive
• Try to get around how the platform works
• Scrape the site or use bots on it
• Pretend to be someone else

12. Limitation of Liability

Sheen is not responsible for what users do with what they make. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses, for example lost earnings or a missed occasion.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

13. Account Suspension

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms or misuses the platform. Where we can, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right; where the problem is serious, fraud, or anything that puts someone at risk, we may act immediately.

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and any dispute will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any right you have to bring a claim in the country you live in.

If something goes wrong, email us and we will help where we can.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Sheen after that means you accept the updated Terms; if you would rather not, you can close your account.
